Services offered and pricing:

Free 15 minute initial phone consultation to establish needs, if required.

Initial communication assessment and advice (up to 90 minutes) without report* - £100

 

Initial dysphagia (swallowing) assessment and advice with report* (up to two hours) - £200

*Reports for adults are optional except for dysphagia (swallowing) assessments where there is a safety or nutritional risk and your GP should be informed.

Therapy sessions - £75 per session (all planning, preparation/provision of therapy materials and note-writing is included in your session fee)
 

All further therapist work for you will be charged at the hourly rate of £75 per hour pro rata.  This includes:

• Further assessment / information gathering

• Written summary of advice / therapy programme

• Liaison with other professionals

• Letters / detailed report

• Attendance at meetings

• Telephone calls

Travel costs:

The first 15 minutes of travel each way is free.

• Additional 1-15 minutes each way - £10 each way plus 45p per mile

• Additional 16-30 minutes each way -£20 each way plus 45p per mile

• Additional 31-45 minutes each way -£30 each way plus 45p per mile

​All fees are explained prior to the start of therapy.

​Fees are subject to annual review on April 1st.

South Downs Therapy is based near Lewes, East Sussex and can offer services in Sussex and bordering counties.

Clinic appointments:

I may be able to book a clinic room near Lewes which can reduce travel costs substantially.  Please enquire for details. 

 

Payment:

Invoices will be presented at the beginning of the month or after the completion of therapy / report.  This will be payable within 2 weeks of receipt of the invoice.  Preferred payment is by bank transfer using the details on your invoice please.  Alternatively I can accept cheques, PayPal, debit or credit card payments (using the form below).

In the event of non-payment, you will be contacted to remind you that payment is overdue. If payment is not received in full within 7 days of this reminder, a weekly recurring late-payment fee of 8% will be added to the account.  South Downs Therapy reserves the right to refer further non-payment to a solicitor and to commence legal action.
